Helloo Club
Last updated: 16 July 2026 · Effective: 16 July 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and RemotIQ Pty Ltd (ABN 91 682 628 128) ("Helloo," "we," "us"). By creating an account, RSVPing to a club, using Helloo AI, or otherwise using our website or app (together, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Policy, and Helloo AI Policy, all of which are incorporated here by reference.
If you don't agree, don't use the Services.
2. Who can use Helloo
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must be able to form a binding contract and not be barred from our Services under applicable law or by a previous Helloo ban.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. What Helloo is — and isn't
Helloo helps people meet offline through small, hosted clubs, and offers Helloo AI as a conversational companion.
Helloo is a platform that connects people. We are not:
- a party to what happens at any in-person meetup;
- an employer, agent, or guarantor of any host or member;
- a background-screening service, a dating service, an emergency service, or a provider of professional, medical, legal, or mental-health advice.
You are responsible for your own choices and conduct, online and offline.
4. Your account
- Keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- You may use a handle and stay anonymous within the limits the Services allow, but you may not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or age.
- Tell us promptly at support@helloo.com.au if you suspect unauthorised use.
5. Rules of conduct
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines and Safety Policy. In short, you will not:
- harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, or endanger anyone;
- use Helloo to solicit, defraud, spam, sell, or recruit for anything the meetup isn't for;
- share other members' private information or anything said at a meetup without consent;
- create fake accounts, bots, or scrape the Services;
- bring weapons, illegal substances, or intoxication that endangers others to meetups;
- use Helloo AI to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content, or to attempt to jailbreak or misuse it.
We may remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these rules — sometimes without prior notice where safety requires it.
6. Offline meetups, hosts, and assumption of risk
This is important. Read it.
- Meetups happen in the real world, organised by independent hosts and attended by other members. We do not control, supervise, or guarantee any meetup, host, or attendee.
- While we take steps to promote safety (vetting, reporting tools, guidelines), we cannot guarantee the identity, background, conduct, or intentions of any person you meet.
- You attend meetups at your own risk. Use good judgment: meet in public where possible, tell someone where you're going, and follow the Safety Policy.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Helloo from claims arising out of the acts or omissions of hosts, members, or third parties at or connected to meetups.
If you ever feel unsafe, contact local emergency services first, then report to us.
7. Helloo AI
Your use of Helloo AI is also governed by the Helloo AI Policy. Key points:
- Helloo AI is for companionship and conversation. It is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, or crisis line, and its outputs may be inaccurate.
- If you are in crisis or danger, contact local emergency services or a professional helpline — not Helloo AI.
- Don't rely on Helloo AI for decisions with legal, financial, medical, or safety consequences.
8. Content and intellectual property
- Your content (messages, posts, application text) stays yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process it to run the Services.
- Our content (the Helloo name, logo, design, software) is ours or our licensors'. Don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it.
- Don't post content you don't have the right to share.
9. Payments (where applicable)
If a club, event, or membership involves a fee, the price and terms will be shown before you pay. Host compensation is governed by the Host Terms. Refunds, where offered, follow [refund terms / link].
10. Suspension and termination
You can close your account any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, create risk to others, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. Sections 6, 8, 11, 12) will survive.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that they'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any match or meetup will meet your expectations.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Helloo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of hosts, members, or third parties.
- Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to [the greater of amounts you paid us in the past 12 months, or AUD [amount]].
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (e.g. for our own gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or as required by Australian law).
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, disputes are subject to the courts of [state/territory, e.g. Victoria]. We encourage you to raise concerns with us first at support@helloo.com.au so we can try to resolve them.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll give notice in-app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the updated Terms.
