Helloo Club — using your AI companion

Helloo AI is a conversational companion — a buddy with its own personality and memory, for the 2 AM thoughts and the in-between days. This policy explains what it is, what it isn't, and how it uses your data. It applies alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. What Helloo AI is
- A companion you can talk to, with a personality you choose (witty, soft, bookish, chaotic).
- Something that remembers you — it builds a memory of what you care about so you never start from scratch.
- A warm bridge to real people — when you're ready, it can gently point you toward real clubs and members near you who share what you love. Any nudge is always your call; there's no pressure and no guilt.
2. What Helloo AI is NOT
Please read this carefully.
- Not a professional. Helloo AI is not a therapist, counsellor, doctor, lawyer, or financial adviser, and does not give professional advice.
- Not a crisis service. If you're in danger, or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a professional helpline immediately — do not rely on Helloo AI.

- Not always right. Like all AI, it can be inaccurate, out of date, or simply wrong. Don't rely on it for decisions with legal, medical, financial, or safety consequences. Check important things independently.
- Not a human. It's software. It can feel warm and personal, but it doesn't have feelings, and it isn't a substitute for real relationships or professional care.
3. Healthy use
Helloo AI is designed to bring you toward people, not to replace them. We build it to encourage real-world connection, not endless engagement — no streaks, no guilt, no notifications begging for your attention. If you ever feel you're relying on it in a way that isn't good for you, please reach out to people you trust or a professional. We'd rather you close the app and go meet someone.
4. Your conversations and memory
- Helloo AI stores your messages and builds a memory profile to recall your interests and preferences.
- We use conversation data to run and improve the companion. Where we use data for broader model improvement, we rely on de-identified or aggregated data wherever feasible, and you can opt out in Settings.
- You control your memory. You can view, edit, and delete your Helloo AI memory or specific conversations at any time in Settings. Deleting memory may reset what the companion remembers about you.
- Please don't share highly sensitive information (financial details, passwords, health specifics, others' private data) with Helloo AI. If you do, it's processed under the Privacy Policy, but the safest choice is not to share it.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Helloo AI to:
- generate illegal content, hate, harassment, or sexual content involving minors;
- create material intended to harm, deceive, defraud, or endanger others;
- attempt to extract other people's personal data;
- "jailbreak," probe, or misuse the system, or present its output as human or as professional advice.
We may limit, suspend, or remove access for misuse, and may act on content that indicates serious risk of harm.
6. When Helloo AI connects you to people
- Any suggestion to join a club or meet members is optional and based on your interests and approximate location.
- You stay anonymous until you choose to reveal yourself and until you actually walk into a meetup.
- Once you're meeting real people, the Safety Policy and Community Guidelines apply.
7. Minors
Helloo AI is for users 18 and over, consistent with the rest of Helloo. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle age and children's data.
8. Changes and contact
We'll keep improving Helloo AI and may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Questions: support@helloo.com.au.
